Introduction
Radiology is one of the clinical support departments in Kuala Lumpur Hospital. The department provides a wide range of diagnostic and interventional services using a variety of latest technology equipment. The Department comprises of a main department with 5 satellite units located in:
- Emergency and Trauma Department
- Specialist Complex and Ambulatory Care Centre (SCACC)
- IKTAR (Institut Kajisaraf Tunku Abdul Rahman)
- Institute Urology and Nephrology
- Wisma Rekod
Services are provided for both inpatients and outpatients.

Client Charter
As a department that prioritizes patient health and comfort, we promise to provide
FAST, ACCURATE, SAFE AND EXCELLENT SERVICE
- .Appointment for Special Radiological Examination shall be given within 30 minutes.
- General Radiographic Examination will be completed within 60 minutes. (If there is no action after 45 minutesfrom registration, please contact the liaison officer on duty.)
- Radiology reports shall be completed the same day for urgent cases and within fourteen(14)days for outpatients.
- For clients who are defined as emergency, the requesting doctor will be informed of the radiological imaging findings as soon as possible for immediate or prompt treatment by the requesting team.
